Don't Pay Fees Before Calling First I don't recommend paying this company any money or fees until you pick up the phone and call them first and gain a thorough understanding of their refund process should they accept another applicant and not you. I called, but couldn't get a straight answer and ended with no comfort level that they were operating their business transparently. Why was the house still being advertised this morning for rent and taking applications and fees on Zillow.com when I was just told by the Agent they had approved a tenant before today?

Slum Lords / Cons I truly wish I would’ve read these reviews a year ago. To start when I got into the house it was in horrible condition; filthy, broken, and not taken care of at all. I contacted several personnel before anyone even came out, just so they could say everything was cosmetic and not their issue. Now that it has came time to renew my lease I was hit with a $200 increase. The average rent increase for Jacksonville, FL is 3-5% for this year, and they’re expecting a 10% increase in rent. I have a meeting scheduled with the Installation CDR and SJA to have this company black listed for service members and veterans; this is my warning for all other civilians.

I would like to give ZERO stars if it… I would like to give ZERO stars if it was an option. We have been without a refrigerator and freezer for a week in 90 degree Charlotte heat. I have 2 year old twins and we are living out of a cooler. It took 3 days for anyone to respond to my maintenance request, and then the maintenance person that was scheduled to come was a no show, and then ANOTHER no show the next day. We were never updating on anything, no communication. They finally sent a disgusting old moldy fridge to shut us up from a used appliance center. FINALLY after 4 days of wasted an entire holiday weekend trying to get any answers I was told appliances are backordered 2 weeks and that I was lucky to get what I did. I went to my local Lowes and sent a photo of an almost identical fridge available to take home immediately. I told her that her argument was not valid. I offered to purchase it for reimbursement, and got no response. This fridge is unfit for use, and unsanitary. During a pandemic ESPECIALLY, I deserve to have a clean appliance brought into my home with small children. Will be filing a lawsuit.

My ac went out My ac went out, of course on a holiday weekend on 09/03/2021 after 5 pm and we had to wait until 09/07/2021 they couldn’t come until the 09/08/2021and of course Goal couldn’t get a hold of anyone in maintenance. It was a lot of back and fourth. And Goal was having a hard time communicating back with us and also the maintenance people .so they are horrible at communicating.Now we have been without A/C for 3 weeks. So now my whole family is suffering in the humidity and heat all this time and yes they give us floor a/c unit but it only freshens the kitchen. and I can’t speak with anyone at goal. No one cares we don’t have ac it’s 95 degrees outside.it’s now getting cooler outside. This is completely unacceptable. Because we just got this company we use to have national real estate but recently change to Goal. And now I know why they have 2 stars
