GBNot a great experience We used Airhost's full management service while we were travelling for three months. I'll start with the positives. Airhost were generally easy to get hold of and their staff were all friendly. They provided an initial property visit to give advice on how to prepare the property, and the photos and advert they produced for the property looked good. We were also surprised by the nightly rate we could get for our flat. When we returned from travelling our flat was very clean, as we had left it. However, there were a number of areas where we felt let down. 1) We received several reviews with negative feedback on their stays as a result of Airhost not doing their job as well as they should around the check-in process. For example, basic things like guests not being told the flat number or how to access the parking area (both on more than one occasion). 2) Because of this, we weren't able to completely switch off from looking after the property while we were away, and on several occasions had to answer questions from airhost that we had addressed before. We also no doubt lost out on income as a result of some less than positive reviews. 3) Airhost's pricing structure is quite opaque, and given the issues we experienced with Airhost's management, didn't feel like good value for money. All in, for the full management service including tax, we paid around 30% of our earnings (EDIT: to be clear, this because the 18% quoted doesn’t include a load of additional charges, as well as VAT). I haven't done a like-for-like comparison with other companies so I'm not sure if that's expensive, but it's worth being aware that's what it adds up to. Some of the fees also feel unnecessary and petty. For example, a £9.99 annual fee to write welcome messages to guests feels petty relative to a property being let out for £200 a night; and a £25 monthly replenishment charge, which is charged whether the property is booked for one night in a month or the whole month. We were also told that we'd have to pay an extra £100 for them to send us electronic copies of the photos they took of our property. Based on this experience, I'd find it hard to recommend Airhost's services, unfortunately.

GBConsistently good service from Airhost For You We have worked with Airhost for a couple of years now - they fully manage 4 holiday let apartments for us. Kelly, Ivan and the rest of the team are friendly, professional and efficient, we've never had any complaints about the service and the good reviews for our properties on Airbnb often mention Airhost which we take to be a good sign. The fully managed service is certainly not cheap but it is very comprehensive, we don't have to worry about anything, so worth the cost for us. Happy to recommend Airhost for holiday let management.

CAThese guys were great to work with; The unit was brilliant! These guys were great! Easy to work with, very clear instructions, and super fast to respond. All the things you appreciate while you're travelling. I unit I stayed in at 46A Regency Square in Brighton was excellent. There were two of us travelling on business and used both bedrooms. We had lots of space and privacy. The unit is airy and bright and has a well-appointed kitchen. The only caveat is you have to climb a staircase to get to the second floor where the rooms and bathroom are located. Depending on your walking pace, it is located about 15 minutes from the Brighton train station and about 5 minutes from the beach. It is located about 2 seconds from the Regency Tavern, yet is quiet and private in terms of street foot traffic. I would definitely stay here again.

GBWORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NO BOOK THE DELUXE JACUZZI FLAT OR ANY OTHER FLAT FROM AIRHOST FOR YOU TROUGHT AIRBNB OR ELSEWHERE. If you don't want upset your partner or children. Advertising the same flat we already payed for the same date we booked in Facebook. 24 hours before our checking date they had the audacity to ask us for double what we payed and tried to trick us to cancel our booking our selfs. We Complainant to airbnb which made THEM cancel our stay. Very stressful and bad experience after long months of hard work during the lockdown. NEVER AGAIN

UAGreat property management. Airhost have managed my property for 3 years now and they do a superb job. They are fast to contact me if there are ever any questions, asking how I would like it handled. They have their own network of plumbers, handymen, electricians etc. More than that my flat is now almost always booked. They built that for me with the presentation and managing of reviews and clients. I live abroad and to know the day to day management of the property, bookings and maintenance is seamless and professionally handled is such a relief. I recommend them highly!
