GBNever trust LoanFlight on their initially quoted rate and cost LoanFlight offered 10 yrs re-fi for 1.75%, $0 cost on Saturday 9/25/2021. I submitted a request, a loan officer contacted me and confirmed the rate and the cost. I submitted application and all the required documents (paystubs, tax returns, w2, bank statements, signed SSA form) and esigned initial disclosures. Here comes a Monday and he says that rate was not available since it was presented on weekend when market was close. Where did he get that confident when we discussed and he presented the rate on the weekend? I felt so stupid with LoanFlight. Be careful of this situation with LoanFlight.

GBI couldn't believe how fast the lender… I couldn't believe how fast the lender I worked with gave me a loan estimate within the day I first communicated with him. He helped me filled out most of the questions via telephone call (vs. filling out the application onlline)..That was so helpful and it certainly saved me a lot of time.

GBSo glad they called me back after initial "no thanks" So glad they called me again about a month after an initial contact during which their rate wasn't significantly better than what I already had. This time, the offer made it worth going through the process and absorbing the reasonable closing costs. I was getting a bit nervous about getting the loan closed within the 30-day rate lock period -- thank goodness I had my paperwork in order (insurance statements, proofs of income sources, tax returns, family trust documents, etc.) and we did close a few days short of the deadline. Very responsive people all the way from the initial sales call through the loan officer and finally the closing coordinator
