They( a woman whose name escapes at this moment because I have not had my coffee yet) were very informative the first time I purchased. She explained exactly what I should purchase. A good experience at a stressful time.

GBOnline experience and Membership discussion The first time I purchased event insurance, I was told that that the membership fee was a one time fee. That changed on the next year. Why do you call it a membership fee. What do members receive for the fee Why is there no option to pay by bank check when applying online. When completed early enough I would expect to receive my insurance after you receive the proper funds. I have the same event each year, why could I not duplicate my previous event with minor changes?

GBRude, unhelpful staff I was referred to this company because my primary insurance provider does not offer special event liability insurance. I went through their online quote and application tools, which were pretty straightforward and helpful, but before I purchased the policy, I had a few questions that weren't answered by the online process. I called the customer service line and got someone's voicemail, so I left a message. Several days later, no one had returned my call, so I called again and had to leave another message. Once again, several days passed and no one got back to me. I then sent an email indicating I hadn't heard back from anyone after my two voicemails and explaining my questions. I received a prompt but curt response that was about two sentences long, did not apologize for the lack of follow-up, and did not fully answer my questions. After that experience, I strongly considered going with a different company for special event insurance, but unfortunately I was not able to find another one that offered the extent of coverage we needed for the same price. Our event hasn't happened yet, and hopefully nothing will go wrong because I really don't trust this company to handle any claims--or anything customer-service-related for that matter--with care and professionalism.
