I've really enjoyed using Varo I've really enjoyed using Varo! Not only do they offer free checking and savings accounts, but they also have just about the highest APY you can get right now. Varo also has great incentives such as mobile check cashing, Varo Advance and they have the highest paying referral program I've seen. I have not yet signed up for Varo Believe Credit Card, but it sounds like an amazing and easy way to build credit! I highly recommend Varo to anyone seeking online banking. It's easy to apply and there's no credit check.AAA+++. LOVE 💖 THIS BANK.!!!!

Varo is a good bank - for true online banking I have been with Varo now for over 6 years, I started with them while they were not an "official bank", but then transformed into one being backed by the FDIC, which I thought was great. They do not have the best communication practices in the industry, but I don't really need them that often, if I email them they will respond in 24-48 hours. With a good explaination, and usally will refer to their "rules" and such. I like the new feature send to anyone, I can now send Money to my husband, with out fees. I also enjoy the high interest rates on their savings account. If you are going to compare an online bank with a brick and morter bank, there really isn't a fair comparison, Varo doesn't have locations to walk into, or if they do it might only be in Utah or something like that. I do recommend them. I hate talking to people and going to the bank, so this is a really great option for me.

Completely unhelpful Received a debit card in the mail that I did not apply for. There is no way to contact customer service other than email. I tried calling several times only to constantly be dealing with an automated menu with unhelpful options and computer automated explanations. There is no phone number on the back of the debit card. This bank seems anything but legit.

This a sorry ass bank! This a sorry ass bank. DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK WITH YOUR MONEY. I made a mobile deposit of $43.80 then they closed my account for no reason, with no warning and kept my deposit!!

Varo for the win! This is the bank I’ve been looking for. I have never been a big fan of financial institutions and their business practices, but Varo bank has been forward thinking with a streamlined approach and they serve my purposes very well. Congrats to the Varo team..
