H&R block is one of the worst companies… H&R block is one of the worst companies I have worked with. I had fraudulent activity on my account and disputed and they denied my claim.

Don’t bother making an appointment Don’t bother making an appointment. They sign you up for an appt and they either change the time without your consent or they make you wait behind walk-ins and late appointments. I did my taxes online with a representative and after he finished he said he couldn’t help me and I had to go to an office. It has been a huge fiasco getting into an office and getting help. And they don’t even know how to file the form I need. So it’s all for nothing. Ridiculous.

User hostile features from this company… User hostile features from this company is astounding. Difficult to get past security wasted hours this year. System aggressively logs me off. No useful features. My tax preparer is wondeful but he is surrounded by incompetents above him.

Incompetent PA had updates that caused online software to fail in filling a state return without a tax pro. Three weeks later the tax pro is missing and a simple problem that would take less than an hour has become an unforgivable nightmare. Basically this company is no longer competent and is holding taxes hostage so they can make money.

Inaccurate The tax software was so broken that I was unable to file through them. They misquoted the taxes I owed by over $500. I talked with them over the phone 3 or 4 times trying to do my taxes and they were never able to resolve my issue. Every time I spoke with them they recommended me to upgrade my service and told me that I must be entering my information wrong. I contacted them through the bbb to try and resolve my issues with them and were not able to give me a resolution. I will never be using H&R again.
