This was amazingly easy with great customer service! This was amazingly easy after years of struggling to get Turbo Tax to understand the process of filing taxes in the US as someone living and working abroad and earning all their income abroad. After having a huge mistake made by Turbo Tax last year it was a relief to have another option to turn to and well worth the cost, and I got immediate assistance even on a weekend evening from customer service when I had trouble retrieving the correct data from my last return to e-file. Update for 2024 tax refund Update for 2024 tax refund Not sure how to do an update so I am just writing another short review. I have already received my refund and is not even the end of April. I submitted a tax refund to turbo tax for what I think was the year 2020 or 2021 and still have not heard back. I will never use any other application again. I could not be happier!

Second time using Expatfile This is my second year to use this system & overall, Expatfile's software is great & makes filing U.S. taxes from Canada so much easier & less time-consuming. Pushing buttons & filling in blanks speeds up the process. If there's even a slight frustration, it would be that there's still government phrases & definitions that aren't always easy to understand & could be explained in even simpler terms in order to insure questions are answered correctly. In spite of that, I will be using this helpful service again & know that the tax filing is done right & promptly!
