I've been struggling to use TurboTax… I've been struggling to use TurboTax for my tax filing in the UK for the past 15 years. This is the first year I've been able to file electronically and it was such a breeze. I honestly enjoyed the process and I think it's quite reasonably priced. Really glad to have come across Expatfile.

Easy, accurate and secure! It is so easy to use! Have all your details to hand and they guide you through with easy to understand questions and drop down extra information. Cost is reasonable, especially compared to accountant quotes I received.

Update for 2024 tax refund Update for 2024 tax refund Not sure how to do an update so I am just writing another short review. I have already received my refund and is not even the end of April. I submitted a tax refund to turbo tax for what I think was the year 2020 or 2021 and still have not heard back. I will never use any other application again. I could not be happier!

Straightforward system The system is simple and straightforward and I highly recommend! I found it a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stressful environment trying to be responsible about filing my taxes without forking over an arm and a leg in fees for a straightforward (one job overseas) type return. The Expat tax program was great The Expat tax program was great. I approached filling out my US taxes with trepidation knowing full well the complexities involved in getting them correct and accepted. I had never done my US taxes previously. Their guided software program made the task much easier and, it seems, the IRS has found no issues with the return. In addition, I probably saved myself $800 (including the cost of using the software) this year by doing it myself.
