GBMake auto renewal an option, not a requirement I was unable to renew because you now MUST sign up for auto renewal. As a senior, I won’t do that to my family. Very disappointed.

GBI HAD TO COME ON AND SAY THANKS I have subscribed to Discount Mags for years at various times including a hunting and trucking magazine for my special needs cousin who loved the pictures and turned out to be the best gift anyone could have given him. I recently ordered a magazine for a year and I have discussed with Customer service over the years and today by email for the first time and the service has been so great. They are efficient, prompt and really nice to talk with. No issues whatsoever with any of my subscriptions and just wanted to take a moment to let others know if you're thinking about getting a magazine etc, you won't be dissatisfied. GBThis company is what is known as a… This company is what is known as a subscription trap. I have attempted to contact them to cancel subscriptions because I found out they automatically renew at a much higher rate. This was not explained initially. I have contacted the Apple Card people and will wait for their results. I also plan to contact the Ohio State attorney General‘s office for consumer fraud, and let them know what has happened. Evidently, this is a common ploy unknown to me.

GBRevised to Not Disappointing Original: Digital downloads require an account/subscription with a specific reader. This was not disclosed during the purchase process. If it had been disclosed I would not have purchased the download. Revised: I am in error about the required reader and would like to retract this review. Discount Magazines explained the reader to me and how its use was disclosed during the purchase process. I made a mistake in not reading the details. And Discount Magazines was very gracious in refunding my money.
