Tedious; but easiest way to do it online If you live out of the state you are born with, 10/10 this is the way to go. Gotta pay for the packet and include a 22$ fee in the packet itself when you mail it - otherwise you’re screwed and have to wait even longer. Obtaining official documents is annoying and boring but must be done. A trip to your County’s Clerks office is definitely quicker though but not always an option

What started out a little complicated… What started out a little complicated with questions turned into a quicker road then thaught. Just make sure you do the paperwork slowly with not a single error in spelling or boxes not checked. Make sure if you are older trying to get a passport you get a new birth certificate. The original one that I have does not have my parents information allow extra time. It would be nice if the passports are connected with government issued paperwork like your ss # and expecially your birth certificate. Now I’m praying I will get my paperwork to get on a well deserved vacation

I thought of Vital Records right away I thought of Vital Records as soon as I needed the birth certificate of my father. Their process works well but I feel the process could be explained better. One cannot perform the request 100% on-line. It requires paperwork delivered to your home. I could not track the progress of my request on-line, only the delivery. I was surprised to learn that my father's name was different than I knew. I wish I could talk to someone about it but I guess one can submit a revision which I don't understand. It takes a few weeks to get the product but in a reasonable amount of time.
