GBPaying off my debt , no panacea My debt was re negotiated and paid off. The vendor further ruined my credit for years afterwards by comments and ratings. Helbring refused my calls as soon as the deal was made. Helbring refused to contact them or do anything. In hindsight, I would have been better off filing bankruptcy. Think carefully, just paying the settlement is not enough to restore your credit. Its not even enough to rebuild your credit.
