GBAWFUL EXPERIENCE AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Had a move scheduled for today and everything possible went wrong. Was initially quoted 2300 dollars for a 1 bedroom apartment move agreed to this several months ago. Quality assurance called the week before the move and recommended adding a little extra space bringing the total to 3000. Agreed to this to be safe. Day of the move twas scheduled for a specific time of 11-3 and the movers did not show. Eventually they called and quoted me 1000 above the the 3000 quoted earlier last week. Had to cancel because the rate became to high and get none of my deposit back. Completely scammed DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

GBTheives, Liars, and Crooks To start, this isn't a moving company, it's a brokerage. They sell your move. After charging big money to make a bid firm, they don't stop the actual movers from ignoring that and extorting more cash out of you. There's NO COVERAGE for damage regardless of what they tell you. They will jerk you around, send you to several different claim companies, none of which are actually insurance companies and none of which can get you paid. This is before the actual movers also screw you over in this fashion. Suing in Florida is a waste, you'll never collect. Put these crooks out of business. They disassembled my $2700 refrigerator for NO Reason (it comes out of the house without this) AND then lost half the parts and left it in pieces in my basement. This is now a total loss. I figure I'm out easily $14K between overcharges, damage, and lost items

GBA broker! Hires subs! Scams you for your deposit I'll keep it simple. Do you want to pay Southern $2000-$3000+ dollars ("deposit") to make a single phone call to an aggressive unprofessional sub contractor who will attempt to further scam you? Does that sound like a value? What an absolute joke of a company. They masqueraded as the actual mover at no time clarifying they are just a broker. Unprofessional outsourced call center who are unable to actually provide info. Outright lied about things like stairs (cost) and timing for delivery (days not weeks). Don't use this company at all. Just call an actual mover directly and read reviews. I did neither of those things and am paying for it.

GBAvoid at all costs! Like most others, I had a horrible experience. Southern is a contractor and contacted me to an incredibly horrible company called Carefree Movers, Inc. My initial “binding” estimate was $1800. Final price after they siphoned what they could was double that. They were also late on pickup, several days late on delivery, and had several boxes/ items damaged, including my cat tree (which my cats loved). When calling the boss of the movers, I encountered the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever seen or heard of. Do not use them!

GBThis is a SCAM This is a SCAM. They "organize" your move to another company and then take no responsibility for delays or damaged items. Absolutely no communication unless you contact them and don't expect to ever hear from your move coordinator again. Do NOT use them to move. They will take your deposit and steal your money.
