If I had been moving a short distance it wouldn’t have been a big deal but I was moving 1800 miles. It was extremely stressful because I had to rearrange so many different things, including my job. UPDATE: American did reach out to me and an amicable resolution was reached and I do appreciate the follow up.

The movers performed very well The movers performed very well. The admin staff were dishonest. They attempted to change delivery date of our furniture so they could "jack" the agreed price up thousands of dollars.

Moving Sucks, American Van Lines Doesn't communication with driver/packer Randy throughout the process actually made moving tolerable. the quoting process, too, was accurate and easy. Randy's crew loaded my entire house and 2 garages (in FL) into his 18 wheeler within about a day, and unloaded it in Indiana in about half a day. excellent crew and AVL over-delivered.
