Avoid at all costs!! If you want to pour money down the drain buy a ring camera. Absolutely useless, the lights come on as soon as the gas boiler activates. There is no instruction guideline as to how far to place the camera away from the flue (ours is 6 metres yet it still activates). I today called the Ring “help centre “ for guidance on how to alleviate the problem. The person was less than helpful, argumentative and when on not receiving any satisfactory solutions I asked how I could escalate my complaint further he cut the line! The biggest waste of money and con ever!

Appalling customer service My ring door bell battery lasts a few days maximum on full charge , I pay the full ring subscription. When I called to ask for help I was told there’s no complaints department and they don’t except complaints and there’s nothing they can do

Motion alerts don't always work My mom is 94, lives alone, also has dementia. We installed Ring door to monitor people at her front door, but also so we would be alerted if she went outside We find the alert system erratic and doesn't always trigger alert on my phone. Done everything advised in FAQ. No joy

As much use as a chocolate teapot Power dip and the Ring doorbell is down yet again. Take the battery out to charge it and hours wasted getting it back online. The rip off subscription should be on the box stating it's free for 1 months only. I believe this company is owned by Amazon which would explain it all.

Doesn't work! We have very fast reliable WiFi but the doorbell never works or when it does it alerts to a ring minutes after the person has pushed it so by that time they've already left. Have reset everything numerous times and followed all instructions to fix it but it doesn't help. Worked absolutely fine when we were on the subscription (we don't need to record so only used the free subscription that came with it). Wouldn't have bought it if we knew we would have to pay a subscription every month but it states it should work fine without it. Doesn't work at all and I'm constantly missing deliveries and visitors. Waste of a lot of money! Terrible. Save your money and go with a better company that's not just after more money every month.
