GBI purchased a Quincy Air compressor… I purchased a Quincy Air compressor from Air Compressors Direct (ACD), aka Power Equipment Direct (PED) on 11/30/20 with a shipping date of 12/10/20 (at the latest from the factory). I contact ACD on 12/11/20 to find out the status of my order because they never sent me an update and they said Quincy was the holdup in shipment. I waited till 12/14/20 and still no update. I contacted ACD and they had no information. I asked to talk with a supervisor and supervisor was in a meeting. They would call me back that day. No callback. Called Quincy, the manufacturer, they said they have not received a purchase order from PED since 11/25/20! I called 12/15/20 and asked to speak with a supervisor. Nope, supervisor was in a meeting. Asked for a callback. No callback. These people are scammers. Stay away!

GBOrdered a Cub Cadet SC700E Lawn Mower… Ordered a Cub Cadet SC700E Lawn Mower on 3/27/2000. Salesperson on the other end of the line was polite, helpful and informational in our discussion about 11:00 a.m. on a day when he was working from home during the Covid-19 Pandemic. After ordering he informed me that the mower would be shipped on Monday, 3/31 and that I would likely receive it by 4/3/2020. I'll admit that I was a little concerned after reading several negative reviews about the company so I checked the BBB Website where I saw they had an A+ rating. I then went to ZoomInfo and found that the 100 employee company did 19 Million in revenue last year. Knowing that you can't please all the people all the time I decided to give them a try (plus they offered free shipping). Result = 5 Star Rating. Rather than shipping on 3/31 the mower arrived via UPS to my front door at 2:50 PM on 3/31. Mower was well packaged & in good condition. Everything needed was in the box and I rolled out the full contents on my garage floor at 3:00 PM. Followed the instructions, had it all assembled by 4:30, started her up, cut @ 3/4 of an acre and started writing this review about 5:45. Excellent company, excellent product (shipped free to my front door VS. ordering from one of the local equipment companies where product would have shipped to their store at a cost between $50 - $110 and required me to pick it up), shipped and delivered ahead of time and arrived in great condition. Excellent experience! Eric J Perrell, Eighty-Four, PA

GBThis company seems to be formal This company seems to be formal, but when you return the goods, they change their faces. First, you have to pay a 25% restocking fee, and you have to pay a lot of freight, which far exceeds the actual freight. Even if the goods you buy have not been used at all. What's even more exaggerated is that you can only refund half of the tax when you buy it! Robbery!

GBTerrible delivery experience. Beware of the fine print! This company has terrible customer service. Their carrier was worse than they were. I ordered a generator. The carrier contacted me to deliver between 4 and 6 pm but dropped in the street in front of my house in a cul-de-sac at 10am in the morning. The customer support person was rude and hung up on me. When I called Power Equipment Direct customer service they offered no support. Beware of the fine print. Curb side drop off a piece of equipment that is hundreds of pounds should not be in small print. Terrible experience. I will never buy from them again.
