Amber Alert GPS This was very affordable for me and works great. I can call my girl and she can call me and I can track her down to a few feet. It makes me feel safe during our complicated custody issues. She wears the device on a necklace under her shirt or dress and it has come in handy a few times for non-emergency situations. I did not want to buy her a real cell phone, which would have done the same things I needed, but would have cost more, been a distraction and not appropriate for her age and too big.

If Liam Neeson had Amber Alert ...Taken would have been a much shorter movie. My wife bikes everywhere, even at night. Using a cell phone for emergencies is virtually impossible since it is hidden away in her saddle bag. Thus, she wanted a device to use for peace of mind, something simple, rugged, and reliable that she could throw into her pocket. We stumbled upon the Amber Alert at an AT&T store and decided to give it a try. This locator puts function over form and features. In fact, it has only one round button and a volume control. In an age where your washing machines wants to tell you MLB scores this is a good thing. We set up the device so that when my wife presses the button, a call is placed directly to my cell phone. I can either talk to her, or if she is hurt, find out exactly where she is through the online portal. On a final note, my wife called the customer service line with a question about organizing and adding users to her AAgps account. The support staff was friendly, helpful, and guided her through all the questions she had.

My wife and children traveled across the country without me for Spring Break, and I had worries about safety and communication. Amber GPS (which is what the kids call it) has worked extremely well in providing safety and an additional layer of communication ease. I have been able to track their movements and discuss landmarks along the way of their trip. The kids love it, because they have the freedom to call me at their whim (from the device). The customer service from the order stage to the set up stage has been excellent- on par with Apple and other trailblazers in the customer service arena. The reps speak clear English and are very knowledgeable about their product. They even handled a rush delivery to me so that we would have them on time- very individualized service. Overall, very pleased The Amber Alert GPS system has been awesome. The product arrived in a timely manner and was easy to setup and use. My son loves to wear it and it gives me peace of mind. My only suggestion is a wrist band case that is waterproof/resistant and has a clasp that is child resistant. My son has special needs and requires a band that is difficult for him to remove and resists water. The product itself, I would highly recommend. As for accessories I would love to see a wristband that is child and waterproof!

Piece of mind. My.3 year old grand daughter is having to participate in visits with her biological father which has done very little to prove him self as a responsible, trusting parent. So we purchased this device to have to security of knowing where she is during these visits. It notifies us if an excessive speed is used in a vehicle.
