GBProlighting has been in business for almost 15 years and is always a step ahead. This is a registered company with an awesome customer service department! Prolighting is an actual company, and not just a web site like some of the other lighting sites that pop up. Before placing our order, I did my due diligence bc I had a bad experience with another "company", which had no customer support and no reliable, timely shipping service. It turned out to be not much more than a web site. I guess that is buyer beware. Prolighting has a staff that responds when you call, and responded to emails when we had questions. Shipments were fast and correct. This is a registered company, with a long history of verified customer success.

GBPoor Product but Excellent Service In my new home construction I needed 14 recessed lights. Because of space restrictions I had to go with 4 in cans and chose Juno's remodel version. Can quality was fine and price was reasonable however a year later when I finally started trimming out the electrical I was shocked to find the trim rings were about double the price of the can! Now stuck having to pay 4 times what I expected for rings I found Pro Lighting had about the best price on the rings and they took PayPal. Upon receipt I noticed 10 of the 14 had defects in the bezel finish. Pro lighting offered to take them back, ship out 10 replacements and handle shipping both ways. While not happy with Juno's over priced poor quality trim rings, I was very pleased with Pro Lighting's timely service and support!

GBExcellent service, fair price & timely delivery I visited Prolightings's website and viewed 120 volt ballasts available for purchase. I was not familiar with the product so emailed them identifying the mfg. & model number of the ballast in my current florescent fixtures. I wanted a ballast that would start a F40T12 light at or near a temperature of zero. My current ballasts stated minimum starting temperature 50+. A response was received within hours identifying a ballast and its cost. I purchased 15 and received the product within 5 days.

GBPoor customer service I requested a return authorization and have yet to get a response. I was told via the return tab on the web site that I would be receiving an email shortly with the information on the return procedures. That was four days ago. What is shortly? I would consider shortly within 24 hours! Still waiting to hear from them. I think they are waiting until their thirty day return policy ends and then I won't be able to get a refund.

GBI don't understand how this place can… I don't understand how this place can have a rating of so many stars. This place has terrible customer support. I was waiting for a couple of days for an email with a reply. As for my last email, I've actually never got a response. I placed an order for an item in stock (lead time) according to the prolighting website, tho I was waiting for three weeks before it was shipped. The restock fee is a ripoff! I purchase the wrong position light bulb due to a confusing description on the website. I realized my mistake when I got the package. I actually never opened the bulb box. At this point, I need to pay for a delivery, which is ok, I guess, and 25% restock fee! It's not worth sending it back because the refund goes towards $0. I will never order anything from this place again and will not recommend this place to my friends.
