GBCommunication and Delivery Issue I visited the US office of The Table on September 29, 2023, and was impressed by the knowledgeable and friendly team who assisted us in selecting a desk, table, and bench. This positive experience led us to place an order. However, post-purchase communication regarding our order status was lacking. Initially, we were patient, assuming busyness on their part. Our first inquiry about shipping status on October 4, 2023, was met with a promise of an update within two days, but it required several follow-ups from us to receive a response. On November 4, we were told to expect an update early the following week. By November 21, the response shifted to a mid-January 2024 delivery date. Our excitement for the solid wood furniture waned due to these delays, and we requested a cancellation and refund on November 21. The company replied that cancellation was not possible as the order had already been produced and would be shipped in the next few weeks. Further inquiries on December 27, 2023, and January 11, 2024, revealed additional delays due to "unforeseen production issues," contradicting their earlier statement that our items were already produced. As of today, January 28, 2024, we still haven't received any updates or a new estimated arrival time, as promised on January 11. While I understand that delays can happen, consistent and proactive communication is crucial. The conflicting information about the production status of our order has been particularly confusing and disappointing.

GBLove the table / delivery and wait time was rough Love the table itself. It’s beautiful. Sadly- the wait was so much longer than anticipated and with long periods of no communication, I was worried the website was a scam after my final payment was submitted and not tracking info was provided for several weeks - so I was relieved when it arrived. Table delivery service did not unpack item or bring inside, even though the delivery slip said CEVA White Glove Assembly - just left by front door. It was SO much heavier than expected. Took three adults to move it inside. I would guess delivery service didn’t follow through with bringing item inside because they only sent one person and it was too heavy for a single person to safely lift.

You get to deal with a real person with knowledge of the product line and with knowledge of your order from start to finish, not a call center. FIVE STARS to the co. and to Darci.

GBLove my table After getting burned by another online company, I found The Table Company after extensive google searching. I emailed for wood samples which arrived very quickly. There was an issue where the delivery company only sent one person to deliver the table, which needed to be carried up the stairs, which The Table Company could not be held responsible for. From ordering to receipt and after receipt of the table I was in direct communication which set me at ease. The best part was the table was amazing and much better quality than large retailers like West Elm, Pottery Barn, etc.

GBThe table is a 5 star quality The table is a 5 star quality. However the window for it to be delivered has alot to be desired. I had to wait 5hrs and 45 minutes for the delivery. So when odering be remindful of this because it can be frustrating. Also the communication from the delivery company needs to be improved.
