Pulled in over 600 pounds of pecans so far this season ~200 pounds of meat after shelling and cleaning. It does pick up debris, but that’s on us for not being as diligent as we could with prepping the picking and wanting to keep our grass and have the pecans.

essential for sweetgum tree owners This tool (Stab-a-Nut picker upper) is great for picking up those infernal sweetgum balls. It's debatable whether it's faster than picking them up manually, but it saves strain on your back and makes the job half-enjoyable to do. My only wish would be more durable construction in some of the plastic parts, but my first unit lasted 4+ years of hard use and for only $65 that's pretty good.

Great Product Bought the bag-a-nut from a link in an article about sweet gum balls (and how to deal with them). Was somewhat skeptical given the price tag, but I like buying USA made. This product does exactly what it advertises, and picked up with little effort in 30 minutes what took a day with rakes and tarps to accomplish. Highly recommend!!
