GBTEA SPILLED ON A WOOL CARPET I had a nasty tea spillage on my four year old expensive fitted wool carpet to my large living room. From beginning to end I found Renew to be responsive, professional, and fast to make appointments and attend my home for examination of my carpet. Within 3 weeks they had made me a very fair offer to replace my whole carpet which I accepted and the money was transferred into my bank account within three days of their phone offer. GBAbsolutely terrible service Absolutely terrible service. The worst I’ve ever experienced. From constant delays to being blatantly lied to! Told by Renew they have a carpet fitter that can fit at quote they’ve offered only to be told by that fitter the price they give them is 1/2 of what they could do it for and they would not be able to take the job. All lies from the start. Only offer the price they do because it’s their own carpet supplier company - that’s why cash settlement is a fraction of true price. Even with that they don’t have fitters to do job at price quoted.

GBI thought it was going to be a nightmare but it so wasn’t I have never made a claim with my insurances before ,I was worried it was going to be a nightmare to get my claim sorted. I’m registered disabled and had anxiety about someone having to come into my house .. I really didn’t need to worry from the first call then having Colin come to inspect the damage he really put my mind at lease and was so respectful and understanding to my needs . Also I was expecting a long wait to hear but honestly just over a week later I have dates ect to sort this out . So easy and I would recommend Renew to everyone .
