About Outdoorsy

Outdoorsy is the first international fully insured community marketplace mobilizing the world's over 50M idle RVs. Powering road trips and RV adventures. Outdoorsy connects you with network of RV owners, so you can reserve and rent RVs direct from the owner. We don’t own a fleet of identical, anonymous RVs that have seen millions of miles. Instead, we connect RV owners with folks who just want to experience RVing without having to buy one themselves. Not only do we make it safe for RV owners to rent out their rigs and earn money, but we also make it easy to rent great vehicles from dependable and knowledgeable owners. We are on a mission: We believe everyone should have the access, choice and opportunity to get outdoors. Our goal is to help people discover the best spots in the country ---- and have the time of their lives doing it.

Outdoorsy is GREAT! Outdoorsy has made connecting with potential renters and the actual rental process a breeze. The app is usher friendly. There are certain features that are not available on the app. I feel there should be a disclosure for those aspects stating not available in app. But overall I love Outdoorsy

Our renters were Excellent and took… Our renters were Excellent and took very good care of our rig…they were very concerned about all of the details including the forms and all of the initial communications. Outdoorsy was very helpful in the whole process…Thank you!! They said they loved the experience and will be renting again!!

Good communication and quick response, and a suggestion Overall great communication and good options. Something to consider for the traveler or event the owner is to see if Outdoorsy could offer travel insurance for RV rentals that are outside of the range of the owner. Considering an RV service call is anywhere from $150-200 for the call I would have gladly paid $100 plus deductible for peace of mind if anything happens out in the road. I know it's not a thing now, but maybe it could be? Maybe offer it as a membership like triple A but for unseen repairs. Food for thought.

My RV was damaged by a renter My RV was damaged by a renter, and I am currently waiting on Outdoorsy to accept the accrued costs because my RV is losing value every day. It has been a really horrible process. This is totally unsatisfactory because I was informed that I have to wait for the renter's primary insurance company to reject the claim before they will take it up. I am currently waiting for their response and dealing with daily loss. Very dissatisfied with Outdoorsy's handling of this situation.

So far so good So far so good. We did hit a few road blocks setting up our hosting account. One of which took weeks to fix and I had to ask for updates every few days to keep things rolling, but aside from the rocky start the page seems to serve its purpose and the renters we have found through the site have been excellent renters so far!
