"Gold" Skyscraper Truss Rod Cover My EXL-1 bought new in ~2014 came with "gold" hardware except for the TRC. So the gold TRC finally came into stock and it was reasonable at $15. However, it is thicker and slightly longer than the original "silver" TRC and wouldn't install properly until I took a file (a really coarse file, I might add) to it, followed by some finishing work with a much finer file. Looks better now, but it certainly wasn't drop in place and tighten a couple of screws, which is what I expected.

My new case…fast! The only available case specifically for my Bedford Premier! Excellent quality…I wanted to crawl inside the lining it is so furry and soft! Then I put on my D’Angelico shirt and I need to order more. Perfect fit, soft comfy material. I couldn’t ask for more. Great stuff delivered fast, what more do you want?

I stop by any time I am in town to soak up the good vibes, strum some amazing guitars, and this time around actually came home with a semi hollow body that sounds amazing and plays great after the team completed a quick setup for me. Go here, buy here, they are awesome!

Art Deco Ebony Knobs I replaced the plastic volume and tone knobs on my Premier SS with the ebony knobs available on the D'Angelico website, and used on Excel and Deluxe versions. There was nothing wrong with the original knobs, I just wanted the more Art Deco vibe of those classic ebony knobs. And I notice the new Premieres now include the ebony knobs as standard. Nice upgrade!

I inadvertently ordered the wrong case… I inadvertently ordered the wrong case online. Neither the D'Angelico or Paypal website would allow me to cancel and reorder the correct one. In my desperation I contacted the D'Angelico office using the number listed on the company's googled information. A very nice lady told me it wouldn't be a problem to modify the order and she would send the request to the proper department. I received the correct guitar case. GREAT JOB!
