TH is the best way to get pet/house care We've had three pet sitters through Trusted Housesitters in the last three years, and each time has gone swimmingly well. Each time we felt 100% confident that the sitters were trustworthy and conscientious about caring for our pet and house, and each time our confidence was rewarded by an excellent experience. Our cat is an indoor-outdoor cat, and with the last sitters he refused to come inside one night. The sitters immediately contacted us and we worked together on a solution. They'd already cracked our garage door so the cat would have a safe place to come in even if he didn't want to go back into the house. The sitters set up a bed, litter box and food for him in the garage, and he returned to eat the food. But the sitters (and we) wanted him safely inside the house. Our vet suggested a place to rent a cat trap, which the pet sitters went to get and set up. Overnight, our cat was safely trapped ... and lost his outdoor privileges until we returned home! I will continue to be a Trusted Housesitter member because TH does such a good job vetting members so that both parties have a good experience.

It felt a bit weird having someone in my home when I wasn't there; but my sitter Anastasiia was so lovely and my usually anxious cat loved her to bits.
