The first house sitter pulled out The first house sitter pulled out, but gave us 6 weeks notice. We reposted and within two days had a very reliable couple who did a great job of dog and house sitting.

Great concept for people with pets who like to travel My wife and I have used TrustedHousesitters many times over the past three years, and each time we have been very happy with our sitters. We meet interesting people and consider some of them good friends now. It's a great concept that saves us a ton of money. Our dogs hate kennel stays and are much happier staying home with competent and loving caregivers. It's also reassuring that someone is in our house; if something goes wrong they can take care of it immediately. I should mention the tremendous cost savings over paying for a kennel or paying local dog/housesitters. We often get additional savings by asking our TrustedHousitters to provide airport transportation for us as well. The website is sometimes a little hard to navigate but that's my only complaint. I love this concept that makes our trips much less stressful. We would not be able to travel as much as we do without Trusted HouseSitters.
