So happy to have found a discontinued… So happy to have found a discontinued pair of sunglasses I had my eye on. The shopping experience with Heavyglare Eyewear was easy and shipping was extremely fast. Unfortunately, I did not care for how the sunglasses looked on me and I returned them (which was processed just as fast as the shipping). While I've always shopped in-store for eyewear so I could try them on, the ease of shopping online at Heavyglare has changed that.

When I found out that I wouldn't receive them before leaving Grant shipped them to Hawaii for me where they were waiting when my family checked into the hotel. Thank you so much! Heavyglare Eyewear did make an effort… Heavyglare Eyewear did make an effort to correct a problem with the Barracuda goggles I purchased that fogged almost immediately after getting the water. I sent the goggles back, they tested them, perhaps made a change and shipped them back to me. Unfortunately they still fog within 5 minutes, so the problem was not fixed. This model and brand did not used to fog for at least 25 minutes or more. I have been wearing them for over 28 years, but I won't buy another pair. Not worth the money or frustration.

Excellent quality workmanship and extraordinary customer service HeavyGlare is one of the few companies that can successfully make sunglass lenses with significant curve to them. They've made 3 different sets of sunglass lenses for me and they've all come out great. Their customer service is also unbelievably good (I had them make a set of different colored lenses for some sunglasses they'd done for me and had continuing problems with getting them to sit evenly on my face after the new lenses were installed. When the owner learned about this he offered to remake them free of charge, even though it'd been more than a year since I'd received them.
