GBSecond cateract op. I recently had a second cateract op carried out by Mr Lash as I had a dodgy lens put in 9 years ago (nothing to do with Mr Lash). Surgery went well and my eyesight is great. I even phoned Mr Lash one evening as the air bubble put in as part of the surgery made my eyesight go fuzzy. He dealt with my minor panic quickly. Excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend.

GGFantastic My story starts with a good friend and neighbour, who came over from Guernsey to Mr Lash for cataract surgery, he came back full of praise for him. So when it was my turn, there was only one person l would truly trust. All the lovely reviews are correct, he is wonderful, answers all my silly questions via his secretary Tanya quickly, even offered to do both eyes at the same time. Procedure day had a gin and tonic anesthetic from Paul and l don’t drink, in l went marked one and two above my eyes, Stephen chatted as he worked letting me know at what stage he was at, didn’t feel a thing. At the age of 81, after wearing glasses for the past 40 years, May only need driving/reading glasses when l have a check up with my optometrist. In the words of the late Tina Turner, Stephen Lash IS SIMPLY THE BEST

GBSurpassed expectations I had 2 surgeries. The surgery in my rt eye in August involved retinal peel to address pretty bad scarring issues as well as a cataract removal. Mr Lash was exceedingly honest and clear about what he would aim to do as well the uncertain prognosis re improvement level. In the event the operation was more successful than we dared to hope. Throughout the procedure he was reassuring and clear about what he was about to do and despite being pretty anxious I felt very much in safe hands. Follow up care was excellent. Left eye surgery with him was a straightforward cataract and an enhanced lens replacement. Again the options and expectations post surgery were well explained. Surgery was undertaken well and I have been left with great distance vision.

GBI had surgery at Southampton Eye… I had surgery at Southampton Eye Hospital, to correct a dislocated lens. Mr Lash removed the vitreous gel and the old lens; then, under his supervision, a colleague fastened the new lens in place. Stephen Lash and the whole team were excellent and inspired confidence throughout. Yes Stephen you were very calm, I only heard your voice rise a notch once! I didn't mention Harry T as this isn't his site and I'm sorry I didn't put my name, there didn't seem to be a slot? Many thanks. Roy Martin

GBRemoval of floaters from my eyes Stephen provided an excellent service. I have had the floaters removed from both of my eyes now, the second eye surgery recently in December. Everything went smoothly, there was no pain and I now have wonderfully clear eyesight. I am happy to recommend Stephen for surgery to remove floaters.
