Great Service My hawthorn walking stick has exceeded expectation. Very sturdy, and because I hike difficult terrain, I never worry about it collapsing or bending like the adjustable aluminum sticks. A perfect hiking companion. Also, a great “critter pole” when I need to guide a grumpy trail inhabitant to a safe location (aka rattlesnakes) 😊. Hiking many miles every year tends to wearout the rubber tips. I never have a problem getting the replacements I need to stay on the trail.

What do I buy next ? Sometimes just put in the hands of the craftsman. I have walnut, hawthorn, and ironwood. The ironwood is staggering. As an elder with balance problems, the long pole helps to improve posture and protection.
