The chair is vey convenient for travel… The chair is vey convenient for travel but loses control on sloped driveways. wish it were better so I could use it daily. right now I have to use my pride wheelchair to get around the neighborhood maybe you could improve on that although I could not afford a new one right now. the battery too is very long lasting, which is great since a replacement costs a lot

I chose the Smart Chair for it's… I chose the Smart Chair for it's agility, size and light weight. good choice! it meets my every need to remain somewhat independent and self reliant. thank goodness for the speed control … keeps me from racing and running into things - like furniture, walls, doors. and the convenience extras are super! my pouch and basket carry my phone and other things that are handy to have with me through the day and do not detract from the chair's appearance.

The chair was touted to be only 50… The chair was touted to be only 50 pounds including batteries but it is over 59 pounds . Further, it is complicated and awkward for the user to fold away because the joystick must be removed and repositioned to use the chair. There are also lots of warnings and cautions about over charging the batteries which is quite a concern since often times charging other equipment can be done overnight. In retrospect I should have purchased a Zinger for my son

KD Smart Chair - A New Moblity Option The KD Smart Chair has changed my wife's mobility options dramatically. Her old power chair weighed about 250 pounds and required quarterly maintenance of the chair lift. The heavy duty smart chair, weighing about 52 pounds, means we can carry the chair in any vehicle with a simple placement in vehicle trunk. Horrible customer service and process Ordered 2 back wheels on Monday at 11:00 am and they couldn’t get the Order out until Wednesday. I paid $75 extra for FedEx - should have received it Wednesday but it did t arrive until Friday. They never answer the phone and apparently there is only 1 person working - quite a shoestring operation. Lenny promised me some $ refund for the problems and when I followed up a week later he said the office was off for a Jewish holiday and it would be right out. Still nothing - what a bad operation all the way around.
