About MDLIVE

Founded in 2009, MDLIVE is a visionary and pioneer in the digital delivery of high-quality, convenient, cost-efficient care. The company provides consumers, health plans, health systems and self-insured employers with 24/7/365 access to board-certified doctors and pediatricians via secure online video, phone or the MDLIVE App. Instead of the inconvenience and expense of ER or urgent care visits for non-emergency issues, registered users can receive a virtual consultation through the company’s HIPAA and PHI-compliant secure, cloud-based platform from home or on the go, and if necessary, obtain an e-prescription. Through Breakthrough, the company’s behavioral health service, MDLIVE enables consumers to schedule video appointments with licensed therapists. So easy a caveman can do it. First let me start by saying I am not nor have I ever been a fan of going to the doctor. You have to get dressed, and take your sickly self to the doctors office, while worrying about spreading your germs or getting someone else's. This was by far the easiest doctor visit I have ever had. The doctor was polite, understanding and got right to the heart of the matter. I would give 10 stars if I could. I will be using their services again, and again.

Waste of money Paid for a visit with MDlive for a toothache because it’s Sunday and my doctor isn’t open and I can’t deal with the pain any longer. After waiting a little over an hour for the phone call and 80$ later the doctor tells me she cannot prescribe an antibiotic. All she could give me is ADVICE, which is free on the internet. I literally just flushed 80$ down the toilet.. I would never recommend this site.

Rude and Not Helpful for Covid Tried this today to get advice for how to reduce the symptoms I'm experiencing due to Covid. The doctor was rude and assumed I was trying to get Paxlovid even though I did not bring up Paxlovid. He said, "you're not eligible for Paxlovid so I can't prescribe that" even though he did not ask any questions about preexisting conditions, etc. From what I understand anyone with depression, former smokers, etc. are eligible, but that is neither here nor there as I was not suggesting I take Paxlovid, just asking about over the counter remedies. I told him I had a headache and he said headache can be a symptom of meningitis so I should consider going to the ER! What??! Totally useless. It stressed me out more and didn't help at all. Guess I'll stick to Advil.

The Best Mental Health This is the best place for mental health care! I had a nightmarish experience with Talkiatry, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I didn't have to wait months for an appt, or get canceled 4 times due to my age. I got an appt right away, I like my doctor. I had a problem with a prescription at the pharmacy. I called MDlive, they were polite, caring and took care of it ASAP! I'm so happy. 5 Stars!

If you don't have a very basic problem If you don't have a very basic problem, not worth calling. I called and was just told to go for an in office visit and was charged fifty dollars for a three minute phone call. Seemed like the doctor wanted to hop off the phone as soon as possible. Didn't appreciate that no advice was given whatsoever except go in person yet I got charged.
