Zero stars. This company is a scam I’m giving cineplex one star only because I cannot give them zero stars. The app frequently does not load the rentals in “My Library” and there is no one I can talk to for assistance. The +1-800-333-0061 listed as customer service does not work. This company is a scam and has zero customer service which they must know given the abysmal rating on trust pilot and clearly they do not care. Stop giving this company your money. Support all other physical theatres and online streaming platforms before cineplex

The $5 ticket for February is a…scam The $5 ticket for February is a scam,there is a surcharge for most theatres which is automatic when one purchases online. Apparently it applies to only a regular theatre that is showing the movie you want to see,if it's not showing at a regular theatre you're out of luck! It does not tell you what the surcharge is for other theatres only that there is a surcharge and you have to figure out what that is! So much for the $5 Tuesdays!

They don't even deserve a 1 ⭐️ rating They don't even deserve a 1 ⭐️ rating. Time of incident: Jan-Feb 2024. I ordered tickets (in Jan) a few days before the movie through the site and or app, can't remember exactly. Tix cost $31. I didn't receive a email or app confirmation. I called the theatre in my city and was told, it happens and that I will get my money returned in a few days. I bought tix at the theatre, so that's another $31. The following week after watching the movie, I call again, this time the person seemed annoyed and told me I should call customer services (contact info on site). My reply 'Why wasn't I told to call them before?' I call customer service, explain the problem, I'm told I'll get my money in 10-15 business days. They also sent me a movie voucher. 15 BUSINESS DAYS PAST NO MONEY. I call customer services again frustrated, I'm told I'll get my money back in a week, they also send me ANOTHER voucher. It's February and I make plans to go see DUNE 2 with friends. While I have two movie vouchers I think I'll get in for free and I'll buy my friends ticket. The night of the movie I pay for my friend and open the voucher, attendant scans it then tells me "There is no money on this voucher sir." I am livid, but contain it while I'm with friends and it's not the attendants fault. I open the SECOND voucher, get it scanned... SAME THING! DOESN'T WORK! I tell the attendant the story, they felt bad while I felt embarrassed and angry. I call customer services again the next day and I don't hold back. I explain that this is not only unfair treatment, but they lied to me by giving not 1 but 2 faulty vouchers. I'm then told I'll get my money in 2 days. They also sent me another voucher (I haven't been back to check if it works). Conclusion; I finally got my money back (within 2 days) after a month, 2 fake vouchers, feeling taken advantage of and angry! A horrible experience.

The online website bites I tried to buy a ticket online. I didn't want to create an account but I was unable to purchase without one so I begrudgingly created one. The site then wouldn't let me log on without two step verification, which requires a phone number. I tried to get around that for awhile but eventually caved to that as well. They then charged me a fee for booking online, as though they were doing me the favour of making me jump through all these hoops. Booking online gives them early confirmation of audience turn out, they receive the tender in advance, and it cuts out the employee. If anything, there should be a discount for buying online. And after all that, I can't figure out a way to delete this stupid account I didn't want. I did discover that they signed me up for promotional emails with the account creation, another thing I didn't want. I'm actually so furious. They've strong armed and coerced me and then penalised me for the trouble. Be freaking for real.

Zero stars!! Their website, it’s links, booking and payment systems rate just below zero stars! An absolute nightmare where nothing seems to work, you get booted out, impossible to use a credit card, invoice print doesn’t work and on and on …….. Cineplex just don’t care! Granted, once you get inside then facilities and movies are excellent but booking in online is like pulling teeth! You’d think someone in management would get concerned over the constant one star bad ratings, nope, doesn’t worry them!
