Despite all the bad reviews Despite all the bad reviews, I’ve had a really neutral or generally positive experience with Nintendo, their website and customer service. joycons: I had to get like 8 repaired, which is crazy, but they really sat on the phone with me and walked through every single one to make sure they were broken and I shipped them for free, and received them again free of charge with no issues. I didn’t go through their website and instead called, and maybe that was the point of difference for me? If I’ve ever had issues I’ve called them and their customer service people are nice and helpful (shout out to Chris from Vancouver). Their online store: always ships super fast, this particular experience is reminiscing on spending some platinum points for a free item and getting it not even a week later in perfect condition. They often have merch you can’t get from other places. Though it would be nice if they would announce when preorders were dropping for collectors editions 😩

I hate Nintendo with a passion. Bad company, copystrikes everything even if its for old IPs, quite literally the most anti-consumer company ever. It's insane how they are still in business.

Genuinely the worst customer service of… Genuinely the worst customer service of any company ive used, let alone a world wide brand. Not only is the intake process terrible, slow, inefficient, I'm only coming to you because your poorly made device's joystick doesn't even work any longer, that's the only job of the device: be able to play. Customer service assured me it was reduced cost because it has happened to EVERYONE seemingly with a switch (shameful design/execution) and then tried to change it once its all been sent in signed for and card down 3x as much as they quoted me. Just an easy solution, never getting a Nintendo device again.

such a bad website such a bad website, incredibly hard to understand whether i am buying a game in the parent or child profile, impossible to find out in which profile i bought previous sofwares. i would like to buy a new game but i am unable to without knowing whether i am buying in the right profile, to do so i would need to see my purhase history which i cant. parent controls app has too many problems. nintendo really sucks big time, they really should sit down with their clients.

Nintendo's greed is out of hand... Nintendo is one of, if not the most greedy company in existence. Whatever bubble the executives live in must be fantastic if they think they can get away with potentially murdering another game company. Not only do they strike and sue people who make fan games (Free ones too, otherwise it would not be a huge deal), Emulation of games which have no other medium to play on (If they someday release re-optimized versions of these games in the future, this point will change, as they don't even sell the games people emulate anymore, nor the consoles to play them on), and other such things, but they take down free modifications to other games, that not only expose people to their IP and potentially create new customers, but also enhance people's lives. And with their attack on Garry's mod, a game that is already a mod of Half Life 2 (As the name implies) they are making a statement that nothing that is their's is allowed to be shared. I would not be surprised if YouTube videos where people showcase Nintendo's games, which is, again, free advertisement from the youtubers who have to buy these games. 0/10 Bad Company, Bad Legal Team. P.S. I hope Nintendo comes to their senses and sees what they are doing is toxic not only to their customers but to their own company. People's opinions on Nintendo currently are not high, and they only grow lesser every day.
