Big mistake..We have used them for many years We have used them for years. They sent their own compliance officer after our firm for a FINRA problem. Which would be very serious if it applied to our firm. Our business has nothing to do with that industry of stocks bond etc. We are just a small family independent Health Insurance agency that does not and has never had to deal with that particular federal guideline. Sadly will will have to deal with their poor management situation. Close our account and go to another cloud service. What a hassle! Buyer beware...

I signed up for a 1 year agreement that… I signed up for a 1 year agreement that included secure file transfer and esignature. I could never get the esignature to work and the customer support couldn't help me. I informed them that I wouldn't be continuing after my subscription ended and they autorenewed me anyway and now are telling me they won't refund me the money. They truly don't care about their customers. I would stay clear of Box.

Customer Failure At renewal, we sought to reduce the number of users by 3. We got the run around on how to do that. As a result we provided notice of the reduction 29 days before renewal. The "Customer Success" agent refused to accommodate, even though the 30 day notice would have required notice on New Year's Day. Well, we just provided 330 day notice of termination. No way to treat a longstanding customer. Run away. There are many other options.

3 users mandatory I used Box.com for over two years… until recently. It’s a scam if you want more stargaze than the free, 10mb. When o went to price membership it stated an acceptable amount but when I went to checkout it stated over $21 a month for 3 users ? Um, I’m one user… no option for that. Zero. Their excuse is that they only allow 3 no less. Um ok, back to Dropbox because this company scams you into buying a plan that has a mandatory 3 user cost. Sorry that’s unethical and it makes zero sense for all self employed and freelance people out there. Who comes up with these ridiculous business practices? Seriously don’t waste your money.

So painful we gave up Box.com website is incapable of processing UK bank cards. We have spent so many hours trying to get two trials completed and converted. The support take a long time to respond (only by email). In the end we had to abandon two projects and use another Cloud file provider.
