AdBlock is great and definitely NOT Total AdBlock It's unfortunate to see so many naïve people leaving reviews for Total AdBlock here, when the actual AdBlock program is so great. I've used the real AdBlock for close to a decade now, and recently signed up for their VPN beta as well. The AdBlock team has always made a great product for free, and only ever asked for the occasional donation. Keep up the good work and down with Total AdBlock!

I've used the free version for a year… I've used the free version for a year and just signed up to pay $20/year, which is a pittance to pay for being able to use the web with no autoplay video ads, no banner ads, no ads whatsoever. I find the autoplay video ads, in particular, to be unbearably intrusive. And for $20 *a year* I don't have to see them. Thank you!!!

I had to figure out that Adblock VPN… I had to figure out that Adblock VPN does not work with Linux OS. Yet they take your money. When asking for assistance you'll get a bot, or a self-help screen. Customer service is virtually non-existent.

Do notr install! Does opposite of what it says--with its own ads Absolutely the last straw. I was in the flow writing a very important work letter. Fully concentrating and exactly on track, an entire web page opens and a biog ugly stop sign appears to tell me my AD BLOCKER has been updated. Please don't scroll away--gibberish. It was signed, "Love, AdBlock." The nerve of a place purporting to block ads, interrupting people's daily lives WITH AN AD THAT POPS UP, well, it should be banned. What makes the creators of these moronic tactics think this would entice me to BUY the paid service? DO NOT INSTALL THIS! Trust me! Use uBlock Origin or a different ad blocker that lets you work in peace. This pop up baloney has finally happened one too many times. I actively sought how to review this, and will also be reporting its false and deceptive tactics.

Updating a negative review Last month I downloaded Total AdBlock by mistake, believing it was an upgrade of the 5-star Edge AdBlock. Although I was puzzled by the split in reviews - either 5-star or 1-star with few ratings in between - based on my positive experience with Edge AdBlock, I downloaded the extension anyway. It did not go well! Miscellaneous, non-stop ads filled the entire screen, and ads for Total AdBlock itself popped up on virtually every click. Frustrated, I disabled both extensions. The relief was overwhelming! I left a 1-star review! Not until I chatted online with an agent did I realize that there are two ad block extensions with similar names. I have re-enabled the Edge version and continue to be 5-star happy with it.
