Updating a negative review Last month I downloaded Total AdBlock by mistake, believing it was an upgrade of the 5-star Edge AdBlock. Although I was puzzled by the split in reviews - either 5-star or 1-star with few ratings in between - based on my positive experience with Edge AdBlock, I downloaded the extension anyway. It did not go well! Miscellaneous, non-stop ads filled the entire screen, and ads for Total AdBlock itself popped up on virtually every click. Frustrated, I disabled both extensions. The relief was overwhelming! I left a 1-star review! Not until I chatted online with an agent did I realize that there are two ad block extensions with similar names. I have re-enabled the Edge version and continue to be 5-star happy with it.

Adblock does not work on fox news. Fox news runs a 15 or 30 second commercial every time a video is opened. Adblock used to block those. now fox displays a banner that says to delete adblock and the entire screen is locked. Adblock no longer works on this site and they tell me that there is nothing they can do. I tried your recommended solution and that does nothing. Paid £9.95 but no reduction in ads so… Paid £9.95 but no reduction in ads so cancelled only to find that they were trying to bill me every month. Arranged a chargeback with my bank and a block on the monthly fee but each and every month they try and take a payment which my bank blocks.

AdBlock is great and definitely NOT Total AdBlock It's unfortunate to see so many naïve people leaving reviews for Total AdBlock here, when the actual AdBlock program is so great. I've used the real AdBlock for close to a decade now, and recently signed up for their VPN beta as well. The AdBlock team has always made a great product for free, and only ever asked for the occasional donation. Keep up the good work and down with Total AdBlock!

Ads. For itself. I understand Adblock is a business, however have some integrity guys. Adblock spamming us with ads is beyond ironic.
