GBWhy the "Welcome to Sophos" box every reboot? I assume all of the threat detection services are working as promised. But I hate that every time either of our two Macs are rebooted, The "welcome to Sophos Home" box appears - just like when we first installed the app. When clicking "Let's Start" button, it takes you into the Preferences menu, but Sophos is already given permissions as requested.

GBSophos seems to do its job well Sophos seems to do its job well. (And, it plays well with others.) On my previous machine -- a 5-year-old iMac, the start-up sequence would sometimes stick while showing a message box from Sophos. This required a re-start. So far, no problem with a new Mac-Mini running OS 12.6. (Note: I do not like forcing a reviewer to accept Terms and Conditions before system accepts the review.)

GBIssues with Mac OS Big Sur I have been a Sophs customer for several years and subscribe to the Home Premium service. Since my upgrade to Apples Big Sur OS 11.7 I have several times experienced the red shield while indicates no Sophos protection. I also was unable to use the scan function, after malware was detected. Not sure if it is an Apple, or Sophos issue. The chat system is somewhat helpful, but not always. It could be an Apple issue or Sophos, and all I know is that as the end user I have to deal with it. A re start of the Mac seems to clear the issues. I would like a simple to manage protection service that has a consistent level of quality performance.

ESIt's just Malware for Mac products... The Sophos website aggressively promises antivirus solutions for Mac products, but it's been a nightmare since the moment I download it. It does not recognize my email or allow me to login. It does not allow me to add a license key to activate the service. It repeatedly asks me to create new accounts and pay again and again. Every time I start my MacBook I get a cumbersome splash screen requiring that I login to Saphos, but it displays an error when I follow the link. And finally, it does not allow me to remove the application or avoid the ubiquitous prompts. This is worse than any malware I could have envisioned on my MacBook. UPDATE: In response to this review, Sophos sent me a generic link to their Help pages. The link required a login, which again failed.

CAWE have been using Sophos for years WE have been using Sophos for years. This program seems to be the real deal, as far as protecting computers from being hacked. We have never had a problem with it. It seems to work seamlessly behind the scenes, finds and flags anything malicious, and notifies you immediately what threats there are. It is a valuable tool to have.
