I cannot recommend this product I had problems installing this software before my screen went completely black and I couldn’t use my laptop at all. I unplugged everything and tackled the issue the next day by rebooting my laptop. When I asked Whitesmoke for a refund because there is no way I would go through that problem again, my request was refused as I’d had the software for more than 7 days. From my experience, I say stay away from Whitesmoke. I’ve used Grammarly for years without any problems.

Do not buy from this company Do not buy from this company. I have been a user for many years. Have two-lifetime licenses. After my hard drive crash, tried to reinstall on a new drive. Activation key doesn’t work. It is more than 2 months as I am trying to get tech support. The phone number doesn't work. Nobody returns messages. Tickets left unassigned, with automated emails threatening to close the ticket after 72 hours. Shame. Good software but none existing support. Reputation is in a gutter.

Poor Customer Support I am a long term subscriber to WhiteSmoke and prefer their program over Pro Writer Aid or Grammarly programs. However there is one very annoying fault. They do not reply to support emails requests. I had to reinstall WhiteSmoke and when I tried to enter my Registration code which has 11 months to run, it was rejected. Many emails to them and phone calls, all unanswered. This is no way to run a business and only drives WhiteSmoke customers into the arms of their competitors.

The life time membership is a scam The life time membership is a scam. They shut me down like clock work every year and I had to fight and get it turned back on. Then finally they shut me off and refused to support my membership altogether. The expensive lifetime membership is a fraud. This company would be a good candidate for a class action lawsuit!!

False advertising This company is not based out of Delaware as their ad would have us believe. The sales phone number attached to the ad does not work. When I questioned a charge from them with PayPal, PayPal looked up their information and found they are actually stationed out of Israel. I would not recommend doing business with a company that operates in this manner.
