Live chat service on website makes the real time interactions possible. Besides that live chats softwares can be integrated with third party software that provides more functionality to both of the services. Popup are reactive in nature where as live chats can be proactive also and at last there is always a human brain sitting behind the live chat to do the brain mapping of the visitor which is not possible in case of popup which have a uniform approach to the customer.
