GBThey charged when told not to I disputed a subscription charge with iDrive when they billed even after I directed them to not renew it. The $106.07 renewal amount was over 25 times the $4.24 charge for the previous year. I rejected their half price offer and insisted on a full refund. Despite their ever-changing descriptions of company policy, my persistent requests and filing a credit card dispute eventually led to them issue a full refund.

GBSimplest peace of mind you can find Very simple to set up. For years I've been using a Synology NAS with built in redundancy to backup all my family's home videos - and with 2 kids who were performers their entire school lives, that's ALOT of performance videos! I was always worried about a catastrophic event like a fire taking out everything, and when I realized iDrive worked seamlessly with Synology, it was no brainer.

GBSo far, so good! I subscribed to IDrive because I read that it offered the best value and great customer service. So far, that has proven accurate. I used the Express Backup option, the hard drive arrived within a day or two, and transferring my data was easy. I just mailed it back yesterday, but I expect a similarly smooth and user-friendly process once IDrive receives it and makes it available in the cloud. So far, so good!

SEFast, reliable, low cost and easy to use. I needed a storage for pictures and other valuable documents for private useage . I have tried ASUS Cloud, Amazon, Google and a couple of others and all of them fails on backing up some files, the less functional mobile application stability, too complicated or is ridiculously expensive. All felt weak on encryption security. IDRIVE works perfect for me and shows great stability also on Iphone. They also offer private keys for security and theat is quite unique. I don't feel great to share things to Google or any country in ASIA. On top, it doesn't cost a fortune. I am so excited, i found IDRIVE which is reliable, cheap and also very fast. IDrive is quite ahead of the competition.

GBLearn from my mistake I had iDrive several years ago but chose not to renew it because I didn't want to pay for backup anymore. Well, my computer crashed recently - the dreaded blue screen of death - and I lost a lot of important work. At that moment, the fee seemed so insignificant compared to the cost in time and money to replace the lost records. I happily re-signed up with iDrive and feel good knowing that every morning at 3:00am my computer is backed up.
