GBVery bad Good: Cheap and supports external drive sync. Bad: extremely slow, unreliable sync (doesn't always detect changes, sometimes Windows service just doesn't run), bandwidth "intelligent" feature doesn't work. On top of that, awful UI, and dodgy behaviour, including app adding shortcut to Desktop every time it starts. Would not recommend.

GBTerrible Complicated Rubbish Terrible. Doesn't backup entire folders, secretly adds paths which might make it fail so you don't know they are not backing up. Customer support is a waste of time, they just point you and pages and pages of FAQ information.

GBSwitched to iDrive from iCloud Switched to iDrive from iCloud due to iCloud regularly failing to upload larger files even though I was paying for tons of storage space. Enough was enough and I moved to iDrive. So far, so good! Plenty of space (5TB) for a very reasonable price, automatically backs up my selected folders to a cloud drive. Customer services have been great so far, my only disappointment was being told that Mac Time Machine Backups may not work when backed up using their express drive service.

SEFast, reliable, low cost and easy to use. I needed a storage for pictures and other valuable documents for private useage . I have tried ASUS Cloud, Amazon, Google and a couple of others and all of them fails on backing up some files, the less functional mobile application stability, too complicated or is ridiculously expensive. All felt weak on encryption security. IDRIVE works perfect for me and shows great stability also on Iphone. They also offer private keys for security and theat is quite unique. I don't feel great to share things to Google or any country in ASIA. On top, it doesn't cost a fortune. I am so excited, i found IDRIVE which is reliable, cheap and also very fast. IDrive is quite ahead of the competition.

GBI've been using them for over 5 years… I've been using them for over 5 years now and I've had outstanding experiences. I have a a lot of streaming video I backup and also some basic desktop PC, music and photos. Much of my backups are from external drives and I have only ever had one issue, that tech support quickly helped resolve. Once a year they will also send you an encrypted drive if you have a lot of data to backup to add at one time. You send it back and they upload it to your account. Works great and is free. For a personal backup system, it's fairly sophisticated but if you have some patience and some computer experience, it's manageable to setup and maintain. Some of the negative reviews appear to be more user related than system issues, in my opinion. Their log files have been useful in debugging any issues and the backups run unattended on computers that support background services to run properly. Especially if you have a few TB's of data, highly recommend.
