After months of not using it, I asked if I could be refunded the unused funds. I was told no very rudely, so I responded rudely suggesting a partial credit card dispute of the unused funds. I was met with threats of lawsuits and revocation of every certificate currently issued. The fact that they had web pages already prepared for these threats were somewhat concerning in hindsight.
