I’ve had the aurora pro for about a…year I’ve had the aurora pro for about a year. This nvg is actually pretty amazing. Works well in low light, works well with illuminator, does a commendable job of trying to convert the dark into correct chromatic color. I gave it 4 stars because for this scope to make the leap it needs within the market it needs 2 things. First a digitally adjustable sight reticle as found on the ATN products. Second, the eye relief/focal point needs to be increased so that the eye doesn’t have to be so close to the display. This would allow for recoil with a black eye. SiOnyx has done a great job with this scope but these two features will greatly enhance the scope’s use ability for the hunting market.

Upon purchase of your explorer pro kit… Upon purchase of your explorer pro kit for almost $1,200 I think there is a problem with the sensor or processor in the digital night vision device. It doesn't even work at all in various light conditions low light and near moonless, darkness. It has a very grainy picture. With the IR illuminator it works great. However, there's no night vision without use of IR illuminator.

EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS! I thought the free Illuminator was a fake simply because of the price of it. But I got the free Illuminator as advertised in FB. I've enjoyed going outdoor night walks ever since. It's just the start, future plans will be photography of the wild and some night hunting. Aurora PRO exceeds my expectations, I walked around the dark areas of our neighborhood, and I can see clearly in details my sorroundings as if I have used a very large white bright spotlight.

Setting it up I see it only seems to… Setting it up I see it only seems to work for left eye set up , wondering if one can get the arm bracket for right eye set up. Unless it’s the hielmut hinge quality preventing me from rotating coupler to accommodate right eye set up ? Thanks from a newbie

Great device, great Customer Service... Their camera just wasn't right for my oldest son (an avoid hunter), so SIONIX accepted my return without question, full refund! If you're monitoring someone, say an FBI agent or other agency (DEA/DHS/Border Security, PI) THIS is your best way to go. The Head of Customer Care - Night Vision Camera Systems (Bill Bobrowski) , was all over the whole refund process. He also shipped the device very quickly. If ever I need something like this, I will definitely be back. Would recommend it! IF it had night/thermal capability, I might've kept it for myself...
