Horrible membership support experience Horrible customer service regarding to the membership. My membership was canceled, and marked as such in the member portal, but the membership did renew anyways on my credit card. When contacting them, and even escalating the refund request, I got a "We regret to inform you that we are unable to process a refund as you did not reach out to us within the 48-hour timeframe following the renewal." Even with a screenshot showing the membership being canceled, they didn't blink an eye. I have to open a chargeback request with my credit card company. What a pain...

Defective Parts - Resolved I received the bike (on 03/15/2024) and was unable to remove bolts for either the left or right pedals to connect these to the frame of the bike, making the bike (currently) unusable. A customer service representative informed me that the pedals were “likely defective” and two new pedals will be shipped to me which I should anticipate receiving within two weeks (10 business days). Not the end of the world, however, I have a brand new bike that is currently unusable, and estimated to be so for another period of time. Updated Review (from two to four stars): I received the new pedals in (6) days and was successfully able to install these. Echelon support has contacted me and addressed my concerns.

Terrible customer service Terrible customer service. Friendly, yes. Helpful or effective, absolutely not! I have 3 different scenarios - 2 the wrong equipment sent. And one they illegally charged me for equipment they have not even started selling or is in inventory. They charged me Dec. 31 and Jan. 8, told me they didn't have it, and planned to send it "sometime in Feb." First time I learned the equipment I ordered had not even been released. The rower I liked, but not enough to have no support when needed. I definitely think everyone should stay away from Echelon.

Cancelation is VERY difficult unless you call! When you buy an Echelon bike, you are given a trial period with the Echelon app. This app is glitchy and not nearly as fully-equipped as the Peloton app, and the price for membership is exorbitant. If you go onto the website to cancel the subscription, it of course doesn't work, but there's no indication either way as to whether the cancelation went through or not. It's a good thing I called their customer service line to cancel over the phone, because they told me my account was still active despite several attempts to cancel online. I'd have been charged nearly $700 at the end of the month! The man on the phone was helpful enough, but gave me about five different spiels about "promotions" they had going on to rope me back in. Every time I said "I just want to cancel," I was read another stock line about some other paid membership tier. The fact that they not only make cancelation through their site nearly impossible (if not entirely impossible), while making it seem like you CAN cancel online, paired with the number of times they try to rope you back in when you do call, tells me that this company is shady as can be. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Terrible, Horrible Customer Service On December 14th, 2023, I purchased a treadmill with premier delivery to include setting up and cleanup, and I was willing to pay the hefty price as well. The first attempt at delivery was denied because Echelon informed the delivery service of doorstep delivery which was not the option I had purchased. The second attempt was almost three weeks later but the product was damaged with the boxing, so I denied it again. From January till April, I was in a constant battle of having my equipment delivered with the premier service I had purchased and finally, the equipment was delivered and set up. However, the treadmill will not operate despite being turned on at all, I informed customer service and was told to provide visual aids to show that the equipment was not operating. After submitting videos and pictures to the customer service email, I did not hear back and had to call the next day. I was told that it has been escalated, it has been more than a week now and no one has communicated or gotten back to me. 5 months after purchase including today, I still cannot use the equipment I purchased and customer service is unresponsive or treats the customer like a perpetrator for reporting an issue. There is no one to directly reach out such as a customer relationship manager that can escalate or provide solutions to problems as soon as possible. Even if you reach out to them on social media, you will get the same apology and nothing is done. Although Echelon might not be a public organization, you have an obligation to your customers.
