The resume itself doesn't seem to be anything special. The first draft was just downright awful, and they were very quick to revise it. Feedback I got from recruiters and hiring managers on first draft: "It's too busy. It's hard to read. Needs to be more to the point and easier to see experience." After 3 revisions, i got something workable, but still feel as if I could've written this myself for free. I think this service is good for people who do not have strong writing skills and where written articulation is not a strong suit. With all of that being said, I understand their money back guarantee. I will spell it out for you, as it is not super apparent at first pass on their website. Money back guarantee ONLY IF you mail via certified (or fax) a hard copy of your resume to 40 executives within your field. This seems very antiquated which makes me think they did that on purpose so they wouldn't have to pay out. My opinion has been validated by hiring professionals that I have gotten feedback from on this practice. This is 2024. Agreed that you should use any avenue possible, but this particular benchmark for money back seems to be rather absurd. Smart business move though on their part. In short, it's a decent service if you don't know what you're doing or are just starting out. Do i think it was worth the money I paid for this service? Not for me personally. Transition Resume assistance- happy I would use this company again. I need to reorganize my resume to transition from a yoga teacher to a banking career. I found may resumes online as examples to help with a transitional resume, but I was not pleased with my own work.
