GBI’m happy with the education I received… I’m happy with the education I received from NCU. It’s given me prestige at my firm because of my PhD. I do feel sometimes I could do more advanced research than what my job now as a financial advisor offers. However, people come to me more for advice on investments and my analysis on global events and how they may impact the economy and financial markets. I’m am also considering g teach part-time in one of the area schools to hone my teaching skills. NCU, keep doing what you’re doing.

GBExcellent in helping achieve your… Excellent in helping achieve your goals. My Chair went beyond my expectations, in the death of my mother she reached out to make sure I was ok. The pandemic hit and I dealt with Covid while trying to complete Chapter 5. Again, her encouraging words allowed me to fight, keep going and remember my purpose. NCU promotes family, unity, and going the distance when we need each other. Thank you.

GBAlthough there were difficulties at… Although there were difficulties at times, NorthCentral helped me work through the challenges, find a solution and proceed forward. My last chairperson made a huge impact on my progress and helped me cross the finish line. I will always value our friendship and she will be my mentor for life.

GBBest learning experience EVER Best learning experience EVER. Thank you. I earned my Ed.S in Early Childhood Education with NCU. I want to continue to the EdD. I am looking to self-pay. I need a viable option to do so. My student loans were forgiven by the Veterans Administration. I am not sure if I qualify to initiate an FAFSA. I heard that if I did so...the loan would be UNFORGIVEN and I would have to repay my previously forgiven loan. Is this true?

GBIf you want to waste your money and… If you want to waste your money and time, then NORTHCENTRAL is the place. I was a student there for over 3 years pursuing my education in PhD in business administration management. I've successfully completed the first 16 courses with a GPA of 3.57. However, for the dissertation which is 5 chapters I have been stuck in Chapter 1 for 24 weeks, every week I submit Chapter 1 my chair denied it then they dismissed me from school. I sought opinions from esteemed professors at various universities, all of whom concurred that my research deserved approval. their validation only amplified the frustration caused by the perpetual roadblocks I encountered. In pursuit of justice, I hold deep respect for my university and all its staff and I embarked on a grade appeal—a route I hoped would rectify the situation. Unfortunately, the Dean's office denied it after costing me approximately 80k.
