Shame on you NCU!! Shame on you NCU!!! You proved that you were a greedy-for-profit school preying on good people looking to fulfill their dreams for doctoral studies. I hit a brick wall at the dissertation, But, somehow they managed to ink out a Post-Certificate in Business for me, despite failing me and leaving me with ABD (all but dissertation). I cannot move forward and now I'm stuck with over $65k of Student loan debt. I've been plunged into poverty class because NCU misrepresented their faculty, classes, and credibility. By the way, I would be appreciated if you return my calls.

NCU's program in marketing is…excelent. NCU's program in marketing is excellent. What I don't agree with is that they use Turnitin to penalize the student. Other universities use it to help students, and others have stopped using it due to its flaws. Professors tell you one thing about the similarity index percentage and then tell you the opposite. So you end up with thousands of dollars in debt and don't finish your dissertation because the software with so many flaws eliminates you. And worst of all is that you do not participate in the case discussion and do not even read the paper presented. Thanks.

Overall good Overall good. A matter of plugging away. Dissertation chair was as good as it gets. At the very last minute, after I had completed all the requirements for my degree, the (at the time, with minimal actual academic experience) new President of NCU had decided to implement "one more class" for everyone to take. I was able to talk with him and get him to agree that since I had completed all my classes under the previous program, I should be allowed to graduate. While it was a good chance to practice eating humble pie and crawling on my hands and knees 9 feet before kowtowing, I did not enjoy having to do so.

Racist faculty The dean does not support students. There was an issue I had with a teacher. The teacher was at fault and he tried to make me out to be the problem. I was going to start my ph.d program here but I remembered this incident and decided to continue my education elsewhere! I honestly believe that this incident was racial due to me being a black student having an issue with a white teacher. Therefore he took her side. Would not recommend this school for black students!
