GBProud to be an NCU graduate I am one of the original graduates from the Ph.D program in business. I understand that Northcentral University has gone through some changes over the years but it has only improved. It was an excellent well respected program when I attended with a caring, dedicated faculty. They worked you hard and it paid off in the long run both professionally and personally. To my recent knowledge of the university faculty and programs it continues to excel.

GBMy Experience at NCU My experience at NCU was nothing less than spectacular. Despite some of the snafus along the way, my mentor for my Doctorate program Dr. Cynthia Akagi was amazing. Her patience and expertise allowed me to develop a dissertation that I am proud of. Being of an age where most people don't consider going for a Doctorate, with the help of Dr. Akagi I pushed through although there were many times I just wanted to give up. I truly thank her for her kind words of encouragement, without that I am certain I would not have finished. Thank you Dr. Akagi, and thank you Northcentral University for allowing me to fulfill my dream of having a Doctorate degree.

GBAlthough there were difficulties at… Although there were difficulties at times, NorthCentral helped me work through the challenges, find a solution and proceed forward. My last chairperson made a huge impact on my progress and helped me cross the finish line. I will always value our friendship and she will be my mentor for life.

GBI loved the way the instruction was put… I loved the way the instruction was put in my hands. I was able to do what I needed when I could. I recommend Northcentral University. My main reason for choosing your school over other, was simply because of the discount I got through the Oklahoma Education Association. I had looked at other online colleges, but NCU was the only one that gave a discount for OEA members.

GBDoes having a degree really help? Gaining a MBA from NCU hasn't helped me obtain employment in my field of study. NCU has nothing to offer graduates/alumni in terms of post graduation advancement. It is nice to have the degree, but would be much better to exercise the skills I learned at NCU in a job within my field.
