The lessons are personalized, engaging, and our son has learned that he CAN experience success in math. We have been lucky enough to work with Peter for many years now. Peter communicates with the student, parents and teachers as needed to ensure that the right supports are in place. He breaks down the subject matter in a way that no one else has been able to. We are so grateful for Peter’s dedication to helping our son succeed in a subject that has been a life-long challenge for him.

Wonderful math tutor! We have been using Peter as a tutor for a couple of months now and it has been nothing short of a fantastic experience! My 13-year-old has made great strides and has become much more confident in math. Peter is so encouraging and patient which is exactly what my son needs. I appreciate that Peter is very communicative with parents and is open to using different methods to customize the lessons for each individual student. We are so happy we found such a great resource. Amazing service Since my son was out of school for a portion of the year due to an illness the school supplied tutoring for him through A traveling teacher. We had the most amazing tutor that made teaching fun for him. She was patient, enthusiastic and fun. My son had a great time each session, during the process of getting the tutoring set up it was easy, quick and any questions I had were answered. We are lucky to have found A Traveling… We are lucky to have found A Traveling Teacher for our 5th grader. Coming out of the pandemic, it was obvious that our daughter had missed some math fundamentals and was struggling with confidence as well. She made a great connection with Mr L, and she has clearly learned a lot. We just came from her spring conference, and the teacher was remarking on how helpful the tutoring has been, and how impressed he was been with their outreach as well. Homeschool on Zoom As a homeschool mom, my very first experience with 'zoom' learning has been with A Traveling Teacher -- we love our teacher, he has connected with my daughters and quickly assessed where she was in the subject we chose. He has been prompt, professional and personable all while keeping my daughter engaged and interested. We love this format b/c we don't have to leave our home and she is getting the personal attention we desire. She is moving ahead quickly and without any time wasted (the way classroom time can have what I call dead air) -- on the contrary, my daughter is getting all of the 30 mins just for her and it is showing in her progression. I love this company!
