The mentor and the writing center are great! The mentor is really helpful with figuring out a research question, designing a good plan for gathering data, and reviewing and editing my paper. Also, she knows where to find relevant papers to study and has helped me find some really interesting and insightful articles. And the writing center helps too. They hold online sessions on how to write a paper. Whenever I send them my paper for advice, they come back with the most helpful feedback right on time. Their suggestions are spot-on, and they always provide explanations to back them up.

Hard but amazing It is a wonderful program that really cares about both the students and the educators who help run it. It's challenging, but, in my experience is a good fit for ambitious students. Not great for folks who aren't willing to put in the work though.
