10+ stars for John Cho I did GRE private tutoring with John Cho and highly recommend him. John was an incredibly thoughtful and creative instructor and made every minute of our tutorials count. His sessions were well structured. We covered all content and strategy areas but he also offered helpful feedback on the ones I should prioritize based on his assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. I hit a wall in my studies about halfway through and struggled to maintain confidence that I could reach my test goals and more specifically, improve my quant score. John was really supportive in a genuine way. He helped me reframe my thinking around my studies and adopt a new approach that worked better. I got V164/Q168 (this hugely exceeded my Q164 goal).

Very Helpful GMAT Focus Prep Course I took the GMAT prep course with Daniel. Daniel is an amazing teacher, he took the time to set expectations, walk us through concepts and practice problems, and encourage us along the way. The class was a mix of small group and full-class discussions, with Daniel periodically monitoring the former and lecturing in the latter. This approach gave students with varying learning styles the best of both worlds. It also ensured that students maintained focus throughout the class; they were either solving problems, explaining their reasoning to other students, or listening to other students (and eventually Daniel) explain the solutions. He is also accessible via email.

My Manhattan Prep class saved me My Manhattan Prep class saved me! I procrastinated studying for the GMAT for such a long time and the class gave me the structure to actually stick to it. I also had incredible instructor, Daniel Child. He broke down the concepts extremely well and was really thoughtful about supporting each student in the class. I always felt comfortable asking questions and reaching out for additional support... he never made me feel bad about being a pest lol. The class really paid off. My score jumped beyond my wildest dreams and I ended up getting into HBS. As dramatic as is sounds, that class changed everything for me.

MARK SULLIVAN IS AMAZING MARK SULLIVAN IS AMAZING - take his class!! The GMAT is daunting, and I didn't know where to start studying. Thankfully I stumbled upon this Manhattan Prep course and decided I might as well invest in something this important. Luckily, Mark was extremely well prepared, easygoing, and fed us exactly what we needed to know in order to ace every section. We worked through problems in class and strategies for dealing with pesky data sufficiency or critical reasoning questions that I struggled with. He showed us how to analyze our practice tests to hone in on what we should revise and time strategies. I ended up with a 750 that somehow got me into Stanford GSB, and I owe it to Mark!

Overall Overall, the class was great. I learned a great deal from Avi and took some new methods in attacking the GMAT. I definitely took a different approach now when I'm doing exercises, which I never thought before. I do wish however that we had more time in tackling topics and strategies during class instead of solely looking at questions.
