Highly Recommended Dr. Nelson Working with Dr. Nelson over the last two years has been great. He is incredibly knowledgeable and helped navigate each step of the application process. He went above and beyond, and I’d highly recommend him as an advisor! Darlene Holt was also incredibly helpful in writing my personal statement, activity descriptions, and secondaries!

I really liked that the mock interviews… I really liked that the mock interviews were tailored to my needs and felt very realistic. Also the questions were actually about my activities, so I had practice talking about my activities as well as some generic questions to talk our my answers. I would highly recommend anyone trying to get actual interview practice!

Excellent Experience After a failed application cycle, I was cynical about my chances of success in another one. Dr. Blair Nelson gave me the optimism to trust in the process from the very first meeting. Always prompt with feedback and guidance, he provided excellent constructive criticism and much needed moral support throughout the cycle. RJ was very thorough with editing during primaries and secondaries and helped me present the best version of myself on paper. Being able to choose from a variety of different advisors for interview prep allowed for diverse feedback from multiple interviewer perspectives. I have received multiple acceptances this cycle and am forever grateful to Dr. Nelson and the team for their invaluable support and believing in me throughout the long cycle. 10/10!!!

Nothing special I found the interviewer for my mock MMI to be not very helpful. He asked a total of 4 questions, all which were basic and on any free online resource. He rambled on for a while about unrelated topics, which wasted the limited amount of time we had. He also did not provide helpful or specific feedback. The MMI was also not structured- no timer, no follow up questions. Overall, not worth the whopping $350. The experience was something I could have found on Google or Youtube for free.

Dr. Blair Nelson is the best advisor I could have every asked for I would like to start off by saying that I deferred my application cycle and was switched to work with Dr. Nelson the following year. Having experience with two different advisors deepens my confidence in Dr. Nelsons exceptional support. I have been working with Dr. Nelson for over a year now. Therefore, I can say with extreme confidence that Dr. Nelson was proactive in supporting me throughout my application process and consistently went far above and beyond my expectations to provide thorough feedback on a plethora subjects in a timely manner. I am impressed by his expertise, his consistent kindness, and honest encouragement. Dr. Nelson not only helped me in submitting the best application possible but provided me with a lot of wisdom that I will be referring back to as I begin my career.
