CATerrible for its purpose Pros: - Visual aid when typing in case you forget finger positioning. - Each level slowly adapts to your weaknesses and helps you train. Slightly. Cons: - No auto-log in feature, frustrating to have to log in every time (cookies are a thing). - Poor UI control, once you begin a section you cannot choose to redo or go back to an exercise until you finish the one you have. - Exercises tend to not really help to type faster, they're more of a repetitive nuisance than anything. WPM doesn't really get better. Other sites help me more, especially the ones with Monkeys. - Making any typing mistakes is awful. Make one? The cursor will move to the next character. Get that one wrong too? It wont continue. This severely impacts your ability to actually increase speed and learn from your mistakes.

GBSyncing issues Hector was a great help in resyncing my classes. We use clever for single sign-on purposes and the sync had some student names, student ids, and then some not showing any time of identifiable information. Hector helped get everything correct in about 24 hours. I really appreciate all the help and quick/great customer service.

GBTyping.com in the Classroom I teach Keyboarding to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. I also teach Computer Solutions as well. I use Typing.com each week to reinforce proper keyboarding techniques and to improve students' speed and accuracy. The videos that are embedded in the typing lessons cover many of my competencies. I have been using Typing.com for five years now, and I do not know what I would do without this platform.

GBI tried everything to cancel my… I tried everything to cancel my account. But their website got me stuck in an endless loop of resetting my password. Plus to look up accounts they want the credit card number, It seems pretty shady. I had to call my credit card company to dispute and look the company over.

GBI understand that for the free version… I understand that for the free version that they need to allow ads however they allow ads that consume high data. My laptop has 32gb ram and there are a lot of delays while ads load which makes it difficult to type. This makes it required to pay if you want a reliable experience. Some exercises require you to retype a missed letter and other move forward. This inconsistent formatting also makes learning to type more challenging.
